This question may be a bit random but through researching different archaeologists, I have noticed that a lot of them are referred to as Doctors. What I want to know is does an archaeologist become recognized as a doctor through earning a degree in the field?

Like any other discipline once they've completed PhD coursework and defended their thesis then they're Doctors of Archaeology.
