A couple years ago, NG did a flick on Dr. Berger's remarkable cave find. I guess i just figured they were a Million+ years old, maybe 2M. But now they fall around 250,000 years. Strangelier and strangelier. I don't think we have a family tree anymore, not even a family bush. I propose a third metaphore: a family orgy.

Given the brain size of a gorilla, it made me wonder about the Hobbits, with their 400 cc braincase, which is 200cc smaller than H. Habilis: Friday 21 April 2017
